Post by KardinalSyn »

Can someone tell me whether this knife has a full tang construction or partial tang please? Can't seem to locate any info on this.

All runs to date have had partial tangs. So, unless there's been a major change for this one that Michael Janich didn't mention in the other thread, I'm guessing it will be the same. I'm too **** lazy to hunt for it right now, but either here or on BF's Spyderco sub-forum, there's a thread with a photo of an X-ray view of one.

In this thread Sal commented on the question

The Street Beat has a skeletonized full tang.

The original Perrin bowie is injected onto a tang that is about 3/4's into the handle.

It seems its a 3/4 tang

Thank you IG-88. I had drawn a blank on getting the x-ray link. This helps a lot.
