Seriously though it's not very easy on the eyes but it's the strongest folder on the market.
3/16" thick blade. Yeah, that should be sturdy.

Fixing Military:

Liner lock head get pushed in a bit and this cause vertical blade play, they hammer it back close to original shape, to fix blade play. May be thicker lined or hardened head may prevent this. Pivot and washer did not get any damage and looks fine.

Of course broken tip can not be fixed, but only reshaped, this is only what was left from that crash test, which did not really crash it too much.

Just goes to show that even when you do put a knife through abuse, a good quality knife can almost always be brought back into service unless serious catastrophic damage is done to it.

i wonder what that 2nd military was that had the blade overextend. seemed like the pm2 sized handle with a liner lock

Knife they tested was already with shortened handle for some unknown reason - I guess this is why they put it into test.
It is not longer blade, but shorter handle. I have no idea why they swap blade - I rather keep shorter blade with shorter
handle...

The appreciation these folks have for the knives is very clear :)
