I don't know which is my favorite, but I carry a Native lightweight for everyday carry (EDC). I have a Bob Lum Tanto and am quite fond of it also. I have a Native 2 engraved Glasshartt Special that I like very well but it stays at home on the shelf.

Favorite??

I have a new "favorite" each time I get a new knife!

Truthfully, for everyday it'd have to be not too intimidating, not too valuable, likely plain or maybe combo edge, hard to beat a Delica.
Or Calypso Jr.
Or Navigator.
Or...

For me, it's a toss-up between my PE Chinook, and my serrated (Massad) Ayoob.

In the last 2 weeks, lasting probably till I get a job and the Lil Temp trailing point PE, it has been my 440V CE Millie...

It has to be the G-10 Police PE with the full flat grind of course.

***I'm glad you like the OD Endura, Jeff, it certainly is one rarified Spydie.

Re:"I have a new "favorite" each time I get a new knife!"

That's right on the mark, where the knife is a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>, of course.

I want to get one of those G-10 Police models. I bet that is a sweet <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.

From the <img src="http://www.spyderco.com/forum/uploaded_ ... gspidy.gif"> s I have, that would be the Delica, followed by the Meerkat. From those I'd like to have there is the Calypso jr. Lightweight. I also like the Millie, the Civie, and I am strangely fascinated by the Gunting.

Howdy <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Freak! Welcome to <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Land! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

My favorite would have to be the Endura FRN. It's big, sharp, and tough enough to take about anything I, or anyone else, can dish out. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

That's like asking a parent which child is the favorite! If I could keep only one, it would be the Gunting, because the ablity to fight is always important to me, even though I hope it never happens again. ( No, the incident predates the Gunting, and I didn't use a knife. ) I always keep some kind of Rescue around; right now it's a new 93mm in the pocket and a now-discontinued standard Rescue in an equipment bag, to replace the Mariner I lost on kayaking trip.

Well, most of the time it's the last one that I got. It was my Aluminum Cricket,
Currently it's G-10 Navigator, but a Starmate and a Mouse are in the mail, and a Chinook is on order.
But, I have a suspucion that I might be cured of all of this if I ever get my Sebenza... <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I'm too afraid to post a response for fear of a spyder uprising for me not picking the others as a favorite. I don't want those crickets mad at me, they got big sharp pointy teeth, (in monty python voice). I just have too many to pic from, when my current shipmet arrives I will be up to 15.

Man this is hard! But I guess it'd have to be the large Wegner. It's just so damned well built, and designed, and smooth, and comfortable, and sharp...need I go on?

Honorable mention go to the Lum Chinese, s/s Police, Military, Delica LW, and Bob Terzuola Starmate.

Cheers, Jeff/1911.
