Centofante fans?
After owning the centofante 3 for over 5 years I started edc ing it and love it. Just wondering if anyone else edc it. I'm an office worker so it's not as "scary" as my stretch 2.
Love my 4 too, although it doesn't see much pocket time these days.

2 mm thick VG-10 blade, hollow grind, well built, inexpensive, light, there's not too much not to like :) The Cento3 makes for a really enjoyable and capable slicer :D

I agree with Evild that in many ways the Cento is a better value than the Delica, then you have the HG vs FFG debate which is really just subjective opinion

My first Spydie was a Centofante 3. Haven't carried it much lately but it is a slicing demon.

What dbcad said. I'm a big fan of the Centofante 3. If I am at a BBQ, this is the knife that I have with me as I always end up helping at the fire and I have no problem with others using it, even if the cut the meat on the grid - it is easy enough to touch up afterwards. I have a spare one that is just itching for a scale upgrade project - problem is I am going to destroy the pivot pin and I'd like to understand if I'll be able to find parts before I start breaking it down (literally).
Centofante 4, not so much. I managed to find one NIB last month but I suspect that it will be used only infrequently as I prefer a drop point to a wharnie.
The Memory doesn't float my boat, if I need a dressier knife, I'll usually reach for a Mnandi or a small custom.

'twas the Spydie that bit me. I held my Cento 3 today and smiled to myself. I like it a lot. But circumstances dictated that I carry the camo Millie today.

I have had mine now for 5 months or so, and am so glad I went with it instead of the Delica! I really prefer the blade shape and ever though it is a tad longer than the Delica, the knife still just disappears in my pocket! It is by far my favorite EDC knife around the house or for normal usage. It isn't a knife you can beat on, but it wasn't designed to be, so that doesn't bother me at all. I love the design and smooth operation. Very hard to beat especially at the price!

Hey Jazz,
I bought the Centofante C25 used at a flea market knife dealer for thirty bucks.
The previous owner did the mod/repair.
All I did was grind a slight swedge at the tip to even it out a little.
Best I can tell, there's almost 1/4" missing from the tip.
Later,
Don

I'm with you on that one, it would be awesome.
How about a sprint run with a coated blade, g10 scales, and a compression lock, (Vesuvius).
Just a thought.
Later,
Don
