Calypso/Caly sprint availability

#1

Post by Clip »

Hey guys,

I've been losing sleep over these two sprints coming out, and found other threads of this nature very helpful (Para2, Dodo availability, etc).

So far I know both are available for preorder from Knifecenter, both show currently unavailable at BladeHQ, and both are available at MSRP from SFO.

If you guys see them show up in stock any place, please post!

I think the SFO price was within a few dollars of the prices listed at BladeHQ. If I had the funds right now I would jump.

I've been watching Knifecenter like a hawk, and asked BladeHQ to notify me by email when they get some in. I wonder if the first shipment is going to be all preorder fulfillment.

Probably Spyderco didn't ship anything yet. According to my several years observations, new knives show-up on e-bay before any dealer ships.

There's one Calypso on ebay. There aren't real pics, but the estimated delivery is between Friday and Saturday for me. Hopefully that means they're on the way to other dealers.

I can see it now. Looks like a dealer. Hopefully will get mine next week. I am due for a fix.

Thanks. Grabbed one as well to go with my 3.5. Love the edge it takes and how easily it gets there.

Collectors have a serial number on them? What's the difference between collector and regular?

The collector knives have a specific collector number engraved on the blade.
