Gang!! I have been talking to Linda about doing some engraved Dragonflies. I want to give them as Christmas presents this year for my young'uns that like sharp pointy objects d'art. She suggested that I do a forum post to see if any of the rest of my brethren - and sisteren – might also be interested. I need at least six – How about the rest of you holics?

Oh, and she suggested a cutoff date of 30 September, so I will too.

Chuck

Pending a phone call on Sept 16th(regarding the people interviewed for this job), I say yes...

I'll be getting $7.50/hr, starting 16hr weeks... will need something to celebrate...

But that all changes if I don't get this job...

firediver - The Native cost $15.00 over the base price for the knife. The C28 Dragonfly in either PE or SE is $40.00. I don't think it would be more, actually could be less. It partly depends on whether Spyderco has done a setup for the Dragonfly before If they have the price should be less. I will email the text of this message to Linda, perhps she will be able to post a more definitive estimate.

Ah one of my favorite lil knives. Sounds good to me, it would match my glasshartt endura.

Re: Price of the new GlassHartt Special.

Have confirmed that my original estimate was correct. It should cost no more over the base price than the Engraved Native. That would put it at about $55.00 USD or less.

I spent $105 after taxes on my SS 'fly last yr(August 20th, 2001)...

the Glasshartt engraved model will end up about $100...

but my neighbour is going to charge $25 to have him laser engrave 1.... cheaper to get one from fair lady Glasshartt

I am VERY interested, BUT I am also in the poorhouse . I really need to have a definite price before I can decide (or I need my lottery numbers to come through).
