While im not a huge balisong fanatic and i can't even flip without a pack of band-aids on standby, the SmallFly has such a beautiful blade right out the box.

Chuck, I wanted to chime in on your photo, too. I'm color blind, but those colors are so vivid and beautiful, even I can appreciate them!

Of my humble collection the Spyderco Phoenix seems to garner the tiny trumpets of cherubim. :)

The Caly Jr. was the first Spydie I had to have. The Kiwi was the first to induce me to spend over $100. After serious consideration to the Persian and the Barong, I'll pick the PPT:

Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

For me it's probably a toss up between the Vallotton, black bolstered Persian, or the damascus Caly 3. All three of those are downright sexy IMO.

I've been considering this, and there are a few that I find especially visually appealing.

The Techno - the stonewashed finish, and thick, precision machined titanium parts have a rugged, industrial, yet refined look that I like very much.

The original Large Persian - the smooth, black micarta with contrasting bolsters, and graceful lines give the Persian a classic, elegant appearance.

Lum Tanto folder - something about the proportions, blade shape and grind, and handle shape, come together to make this one really stand out to me too. I really like the uniquely squared off hump above the Spydie hole, and the Hamaguri grind alone is fascinating to look at.

There are many others, but I find myself especially drawn to these.

Persian was the first Spyderco that really caught my eye. Definitely my long-term favorite aesthetically.

I would have to say for me the Tim Zowada CF , I'm not an owner . I know once I acquired a taste for Spyderco. They all became pleasing to the eye. Spydercos are very photogenic.

Chuck is modest but the pic of the blue stretch with water droplets and bright green leaves I will never forget.
I believe in safe queens , they do exist!
