Larger Pingo?

#1

Post by Popsickle »

Is it just me or would the Pingo be amazing as a larger full size folder with a lock? Just thinking out loud :)

My main thought for a larger Pingo being better is the larger opening for y our fingers. And the smaller butt of the knife. Just stretch it and make it bigger ;)

Just a thought. I love the little Pingo too!

I missed the Rock Lobster, but I agree with Popsickle. Keep the N690Co, Stretch the handle and blade a bit, mid-lock or compression lock = sweet sweet knife!
Love my pingo and have already gifted 2 for family members. Spreading the Spydie love.

Not the same overall design. I had a techno and quickly sold it. Great overall knife though!

Aye. Add a R.I.L. or liner lock and a larger opening hole and I'd jump for one. Or two. :D

Overall blade shape doesn't change it's the handle.

Even then, the handle has the same characteristics, shaped very similarly, just executed differently.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

One handle is blocky the other rounded...... Similar execution but again not the same. What I'm asking is for something in the exact same representation just bigger.
