Manix 2 Lock

#1

Post by kbrouwer »

Just got my Manix2. Cool knife, actually got the newer one with CPMS30V. Everythings good with it except the lock. It locks up like a bank vault but the lock is extremely difficult to operate with one hand. Anyone have suggestions?

Give it some time and it will be easier to use. It will never be like an Axis lock though so don't expect it to get that easy to operate.

I've had mine a couple months, it's breaking in very slowly. I don't notice so much now.

I agree - it will break-in. My oldest, an S90V blade & CF scales can easily be released one handed with my thumb and index finger while securely holding the handle with that hand. In fact, I can release the lock while the blade is extracted and fling the blade out, one handed. I like the lock a lot.
