These are indeed sweet little knives. Everytime I pick one up I'm amazed by the lightness of these little beauties. I was lucky these crossed my path, 2 brothers one dressed in shinny clothes and gold accents, one in a mat dress with blue highlights, both awesome finishes :D

Golden, killer auction find on your #049. Way to go! For this project, I defined the engraving as "right side up" if it was properly oriented when the knife was open with the edge down. Thus, your knife's engraving would be considered "upside down", as they tended to be with the lower numbers.

We are getting quite a few here now...

Hey, Archimedes. Can you give us the specs on your beauty? Obviously Plainedge, no Klotzli on blade, scales look matte. Is there a bug on the clip? With the knife open and the edge down, is the clip engraving right side up or upside down? I'm going to make us a spreadsheet of all of these variances to see what combos are the rarest or most common. Thanks for participating!

Thought I'd add mine if you don't already have information on this knife. I did get it off Ebay a while back so you may already have this listed. I've always wanted this knife and this one came in a package deal with three other nice Spydies at a price I couldn't pass up.
