What kind of wallet do you have?

#1

Post by kraziekurtis »

I am gonna get one of those Spec Ops Brand - T.H.E Wallets in OD, or black. I read about it over on BladeForums, and it sounds like it would make a nice home for my SpyderCard

What kind of wallet houses your SpyderCard, or just what kind of wallet do you have if you don't have a Card ?

ledheded,

Here is the site Spec-Ops Brand. In the Products section

The folks at BladeForums talk like it is big, it can hold your passport so it must be right nicely sized

I currenty carry on of the T.H.E. wallets by Spec Ops brand. I couldn't find anyone who had them in stock in black, so I ordered direct. The folks at Spec Ops are great to deal with, and service is nice and fast. I don't have any complaints about the wallet either, it holds all my stuff in one place, and is even big enough for my passport to ride unnoticed in it.

I don't carry a Spydercard in mine... Spydercards and I don't seem to get along, this nasty guy named rust tends to visit us, and I already carry too many knives on my person according to most people I talk to.

D'oh! I am gonna end up having to get a bifolder of some sorts, from a store of some sorts. My mom says she isn't gonna order online with her credit card, so I can live with a bifolder, as long as it gives a nice warm home to my Card

Dang...Now I feel like a celebrity, since I'm the guy who started the thread at BladeForums about T.H.E. Wallet. This really IS THE wallet to get if you want to carry the entire contents of a normal file-cabinet around with you!...I kind of think of it as a cordura briefcase without handles..

(Edited 'cause I can't spell worth a darn...).

I carry one i made cuz i got sick of having big fat over-stuffed wallets that always end up trashing all the cards inside. I made it out of really nice black leather with a thin "bent" Lexan (the stuff they make bullet proof glass out of) inner shell that keeps the wallet the same size, empty or full, and keeps the cards from getting dog eared. It also makes it easy to stuff things in or take things out. There is only one pocket, so it's fast and nothing gets lost. The whole thing is lined with black "Agrip" (cuz i just happen to have a lot of scrap) and then everything is laced up the side with a "baseball" style stitch, (cuz it looks cool and is strong). There is just one flap that comes over and velcro's down... and that is it. Very simple... very strong... and it'll last pretty much forever... (6 years so far)... but of course, now i want to make and even nicer one.

I carry a nylon Wild Wallet wallet, sold through Shonner-tech. They carry good quality Military & LE gear, including the Endura. It's usually void of $ especially $$$! RKBA!

A pigskin billfold I bought at Walmarket last week

My old one was big and roomy and made me sit tall on the right side. This new one is small and we are not as happy with it as we were the old one. The old one I carried about 5 years but it went throught the washer. It's been hard to adjust.

PETA be damned!! Some well choppered critter gave his or her all to house me svelte Bradichanksy tooth and meager pecuniary remnants. Can't tell what brand it is - the writing's all in Thai - and it was made from the skin of a baby crocodile -ridges and all. It replaced the elephant skin wallet I bought when I was stationed in there. That one lasted a good 15 years and would still be my EDW if it hadn't been taken 5 years ago. Have a Mido eelskin waitin' in the wings when me croc-llet reaches retirement.

Aw aye!, a bottle o' Bell's Scotch, Voxy's finest danish bacon, Kaiser's exchellent Mysore and the premises of Java's exclusive country Ranch with lot's of lovely Cowgirls - sound's like we'll have an interesting Ceilidh...see ye there!

Oi Vox! What's this aboot a Bullfrog skinned purse eh! You Vikings huvnae changed! Scary Horned Helmeted dudes!...

Note to our Forumite friends ~ Many years ago Voxy's Ancestors used to make daytrips to the British Isles and show off their Axe swinging skills, resulting in the British audience receiving split skulls and detatched heads...hmmm, charming people indeed!, but hundreds of years later now sadly reduced to Skinning Bullfrogs for Wallet skins......Sorry Vox couldn't resistlol

For this lil' Party, y'all are missing something... barbeque! I'll toss on some ribs, then it's a party!

Linda- I've seen bullfrog, but it is rare. Of course, people don't realize that you'll kill a bullfrog wallet faster than a leather one, but that's their call...

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Well, I don't know about a wallet, but I'll go for grilled frog legs wrapped in bacon with garlic butter.
