I've always liked the Burgundy FRN they used on the ZDP-189 Calypso.

Sad to see the brown fall of the possibilities list, but I am still hopeful for Red or Navy or even a resurrection of the White.

I'd buy one in either red or white. Would have to have both if they came in those colors.

No brown?! (hooray!) Could we now be one step closer to lime green?

Lime/Toxic Green would be really cool. Not very good with photo editing but gave it a try.

Now I am getting excited about a dragonfly...if I can get it in colors, with steel liners, and ZDP-189 or something.

Hi Sal. Any updates on a coloured Dragonfly 2? My vote is still a cyan coloured scale or FRN :)

Orange - H1 or SB or even the VG10
Would be the perfect little hunting blade!
I used a zipper and my Dfly H1(Yellow) this year on whitetail and it worked flawless!

How well did H1 hold up after the whitetail. People are always saying h1 doesn't hold an edge very well.

I could go for different colored dragonfly's. It is a great little knife that you can
toss in your pocket as an EDC or for an extra. Maybe have a spyderedge one in
there. Light weight, cool looking. I actually think that they would sell well.

When you are buying another knife, you just add another Dragonfly in another
color. I like the idea.

It held up great - but I really didn't use it that much other than field dressing - but the small size was perfect for up in the front of the cavity(throat), it just felt kinda natural in hand doing the job. I don't really know how to describe it other than it made for an easy dressing.
It was still a razor afterwards -
But -
I didn't skin this one out - gonna let the cooler make me up some sausage.
But that would be the test - to dress and skin out, and then would it still have a working edge? I'm sure I'll find out soon enough - but I would also like to know how H1 holds up.

Anyone with some H1 edge info?

Any updates on colors? I'm itching for a lime green dragonfly2, so much so that I'm thinking of attempting to dye my dfly2 salt to a toxic green but I don't think it's possible :(

There's been a pink sprint run recently, and there will be an orange Dragonfly later this year (regular production, or at least I think so).

Doesn't Spyderco only use Red for their training knives? The orange one should be out in June.

Yes, with a few rare exceptions (red Persian comes to mind).

June? Good to know! I was afraid we would have to wait until the end of the year.
