Spyderco's in Color wish-list

#1

Post by krislacy »

I would love to see the light weight Manix & the frn native in delica colors (orange and green). Since this is a wish list... How about the cat and Chicago in that cool blue g-10?

I hike and backpack a lot and the pocket knife I carry while doing these adventures is the spyderco manix 2 in translucent blue. I would love to see a different color set for this knife. Although I love the blue its not really subdued as much as I like. So how about a nice folige green, olive drab or even a tree bark brown?

I would love to see some of the white FRM models come back around. I see the Delica, Endura, and Dragonfly blades disappear from the bay constantly and at pretty high prices. I know they get dirty, but a little clorox and they can be like new. I imagine a black DLC coated FRN Native in white handles. IMO, white G-10 can really class up a lots of great Spydercos in a similar way that white pearl used to dress up older slipjoints.

I'm a sucker for almost anything burgundy or crimson...

- Baby Goddard Sprint in burgundy micarta
- Goddard lightweight in burgundy FRN
- Caly Jr in burgundy FRN
- Meerkat sprint
- My Para2 20CP with Cuscadi burgundy micarta

...I'm sure I missed a couple...

I second that as well. I know they don't use red 100% exclusively on trainers (Persian G-10 Red).

I'm new here and just recently started buying Spyderco's. I just bought a Delica with the Emerson wave opener. Unfortunitely they only make this knife in one color (dark blue, almost looks black) My plan is to purchase the red trainer and the hunter orange delica and change the blades out with the Emerson wave. Has anyone heard any plans to come out with the Delica w/the Emerson wave in more colors?

Orange and dark green for me. Please.
Caly3/3.5 and Natives. I really need at least one of them now.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I'd love to have a foliage green or digi cam Lg. Lum in G-10... or perhaps more frn translucent colors (green, orange, grey) on anything.

Navy blue. Has it ever made an appearance on a Spydie?

The waved endura is a dark navy. Theres a knock-off spyderco company called navy, i dont suppose that counts.
Also, I think there was a Village People tribute navaja called In The Navajay. I could be mistaken.

I wish we could get more yellow (non-Salt) knives. Purple would also be neat. And Toxic Green (like the limited Catcherman).
Toxic Green Endura would be AWESOME. Or a yellow Paramili - yes, please! Purple Poliwog, anyone?

Top of my list would be an FRN VG-10 Stretch in tan and/or brown and, given the amount of days I walk on Furman's campus, a purple one would also find a place in my pocket.
