I just got back from a canoe trip up in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario,Canada.I took along my Remote Release for some field testing and was I impressed!This is the perfect knife for canoeing.Hung on a front belt loop it hangs right where you need it and doesn't get in the way like a typical fixed blade in a sheath tends to do in a canoe.It handled all the usual expedition chores with ease.This one is going to become my EDC for canoeing and kayaking.
