The most "manliest" folder...

#1

Post by PARATOM »

Wanted to have some fun with this one.

What do you think is the most manliest Spyderco folder??

Im going to have to go with my Manix 2 (XL if applicable). It just screams big, beefy, tank like, jimped up manliness.

Ironically it comes in Pink!! :p

Pics or it didn't happen...

It's a close one between the Manbug and the Manix2. The Manix2 edges it out because 60% of it's letters are "MAN" whereas the Manbug only rings a respectful 50%.

The Manix 2 is so manly that if you're a wimp, you will cry about the handles digging into your hands. :D

How about the infamous 'Double Civilian'?

Image

This is not my picture, I found it many years ago. After a search I found out these conversions were done by Phil Gibbs at Camillus Cutlery using Spyderco supplied blades.

I'd say we have a winner!

Either that, or a pink Squeak. It would take someone supremely confident of their own masculinity to whip one of those out in public. :D

I enjoy Paul's perspective on the OP's question ;) Looking into getting a pink Squeak :) That double Civilian looks positively scary

^-- This.

After seeing a G10 Police in person it's one serious knife by length alone. Others personally up for consideration would be Yojimbo2, Superhawk, Massad Ayoob, and Spyderhawk SE.

By that same analogy, the man who gave his wife a pink squeak might find that she is manlier than he is - not a happy thought :D

It's obviously the one with the largest balls and the biggest, thickest, ... er ... blade. That means it's one of the BBLs. Uncaged, of course. ;)

I vote for the Gayle Bradley. It has a Sean Connery, James Bond-in-a-tuxedo manliness to it.
