I own the 2,3 and 4 and I'd probably recommend the 2 if you'd like a nice example of quality manufacturing of a relatively discreet looking folder. The 3 is great for if you're looking for variety. The blue is surprisingly NKP friendly and my personal favorite. I love the light and bright G10.

I try to avoid redundancy in things I collect. The Sage 2 complements the Chaparral very well. I have both. Great models.

Difficult choice to make when the Chaparral 2 is released.
Minds will wonder to wondrous places.

I agree with Paul as well. I'm right handed so the Sage I is my favorite. I don't own a Sage 4 yet.

Well my Sage 2 arrived this morning!

Thanks to all who suggested this knife, fits my needs perfectly.

The frame lock is great. Looking forward to more Spydercos with it.

I didn't recommend the Sage2 because I don't have one but I'm sure it's a great knife. Glad you got yours and hope you enjoy it. Congrats.
