It's been a long time since I've been on the boards.
I asked this question many years ago and since then spyderco has made so many more models.
So being like this is a candy store of knives, which model is your very best favorite? Old or new!
thanks, ken

G10 Delica. Favourite knife, wish I had a pre-need replacement. Built to handle pretty much any cutting task I encounter.

Right now, any D4. I like all my Spydies, but these are my current obsession.

Para 2. In the last 2 years, nothing has kicked a Para 2 of some sort out of my pocket for long.

Have a few models that I really love but, on the basis of sheer numbers, I'd have to say the Kiwi. :)

The flat ground JD Smith,
second place would be the Manix 2

The Sage 1 has been seeing a lot of pocket time lately. Second to that would be the black micarta Persian 75mm.

Certainly more than one for me:
Original C83 Persian, G10 Caly3.5/Caly3, Native5. Lately Leaf Storm is getting close to this group as well.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

Right now, either the Super Blue 3.5 or the Gayle Bradley
Really can't choose between these two.

Manix 2 or Delica 4 or Paramilitary (1 or 2) or Military or Stretch
I don't know that I could choose just one to live with from now on so these are the current flavors that I love.

Well my favorites to ogle are the original Persian and the Kris. I EDC a Manix 2 and a Navaja though. Mostly all of them will get thrown in a pocket now and then but the Manix 2 is always there as my user.

M390 Para2 for a folder and the Puukko for a fixed blade. Honorable mention to the Gayle Bradley.

For me it's the FFG Endura 4. Reliable, full flat ground, good steel and affordable.

Chaparral right now, although I do still enjoy the Delica4 a lot considering the price.
The CF scales on the Chaparral are just dead sexy, and the blade is absolutely perfect.
Next to a Fisher Space Pen for scale:
