I just used my Military during a small BBQ. Sliced some corn (mais) and some meat.
I now notice some 'stains' on the blade that I can't easily remove by rinsing and wiping. I know I can do that easily with my Navigator.
When I look at the blade, it seems a bit rough and 'scratched' on the whole length from the spine to the edge.
See picture 1.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal and should I just use some rougher cleaning methods?
Another thing, while I was playing with it, I noticed that the rivet in the lanyard hole wasn't centered. I pressed on it with my thumb and notice that it moved a bit. <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I took a key and pushed against it (lightly) and was able to push it out a bit with not that much force. (See picture 2)
Is that normal also?
What do you guys/girls think? Nothing to worry about or should I send it back?
Thanks,
Ted
