Count me in 100% for the Szabo, Ulize, FFG Black Endura. Maybe on the Tuff and the ZDP Caly 3.5
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

I'll be picking up these:

caly damascus
caly zdp
szabo folder
cricket nishijin
manbug zdp

I'm a sucker for any zdp, any caly and any carbon fiber (including nishijin...my least favorite cf)

I like the new 'opfocus' name, I think that will jog with a lot more users than MBC, yet lacks the liability of explicitly saying 'defensive.'

What I like even more is the knives! Ulize is top of my list, I was very impressed with that at SHOT, and then I'll be buying pretty much the rest of the top row as they come out. I plan to use the **** out of the lil' matriarch- if it's anything like the FRN cricket, it will be a superb EDC knife despite it's martial pedigree.

Thank you spyderco!

Thank you, Spyderco :) Your efforts are appreciated and the mid-year knives look great.

Oh, and CF Dodo? 2013 perhaps?

Very nice indeed! I think it's officially time to break into the ol' savings account. Sorry, but it has to be done. I mean, you only live once, right? :D

I'm eyeing a Pink Squeak for my wife and find myself more and more attracted to the Caly 3.5 ZDP.

The pics don't do the knives justice. I guess they wanted to keep the file size small :/

Chaparral Ti, Caly 3.5 and Caly Damascus... now let me leave before I just mail the Spyderco gang my debit card and tell them to have at it.
...I have no knives I keep in a safe but there are one or two that don't leave the house...

I agree, seems over-compressed. You can see artifacting before you even get to 100%. Maybe someone made a mistake? The online catalogs are usually really nice.

Couple others are "maybes" for me, but Caly 3.5 has smooth bolsters, so it's a must.

The bolstered Caly is a 3 rather than 3.5. I hope the 3.5 will get the same treatment eventually!
