question about jimping

is the jimping on the manix 2's 'backspacer' similar to that of the delica4? i know it's metal, and not frn, but I was wondering if they gave the same overall feel. just curious.

I would say it's reasonably similar but, just for clarification, on the G-10 and CF versions of the Manix 2 the backspacer is not jimped, the liners are jimped on either side of it.

NOTE: The photo below is of a pre-production "Pilot Run" Manix 2. All those made since the Manix 2 went into regular production do not have the jimping on the rear of the backstrap.

cool, thanks. just wondering - is the jimping softer or harder than that of the delica's?
