Ordered a new Delica, today.

I agonized over which knife to get, and I, finally, decided on a green Delica. I'll put some pics up when it gets here. :spyder:
Thanks, Mike

great knife Mike; although I don't need to tell you that, nor anyone else here. Is there any folding knife out there, short of a SAK, that is a better value at it's price point? I read of our service men and women, who carry these overseas. They have nothing but praise for the Delica.

Congratulations!

Congrats! You'll love it.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Congrats man! One of these days I will add one to my collection again. I used to own a SS Delica but I lost it last fall :(

I have a lot of knives. I mean A LOT of knives. But the Delica often finds it's way into my pocket. It's easily one of my favorite folders.

The Delica is the most tool like knife you can buy from Spyderco. What I mean by this is that you will actually use this without trying to baby it because its shiny or pretty.

I was whittling some oak in my back yard while watching my son swing this evening. That made me feel so happy to put my Delica to some hard use. The edge probably rolled just slightly, but the strop will correct that in no time and I have zero microchips! BTW, Delicas are addictive so be warned!

Hey, what's with that straight spine at the green Delica?

I have had 3 Delica 4 FFG over time. Right now I have a heavily used brown one and and few day old blue one. I also got a matching Endura 4 FFG in blue but I STILL prefer the good old Delica 4. VG-10 is great for me, I haven't felt the need for a ZDP yet due to the cost.

It's here, and sharp as heck. It is smooth and locks up tight. Now I have even less hair on my arm. :D :spyder:

Oh, Delica congrat's to you.
I haven't looked at or held mine in a long time, they are the saber grind variety  . Thanks for the reminder, I must get a Brown FFG Delica to match my Brown FFG Endura :)
