Saturday Night Special :D
But seriously, I would like to see a knife named Homer (with perhaps a small laser etched image of Homer Simpson's face).

I wanted to make a list of friendly animal names.
Teddy (Bear)
Bear
Duck
Dove
Pigeon
Koala
Butterfly (are there any female knife designers?)
Pest (non threatening word, though annoying)
Fly
Bunny
Hamster
Hog
Doctor
(Maybe some variations on the worker, but I can't think of other words for worker)
Pestilence

Spinning off of your post my mind had already been wandering towards Greek & Roman mythology. That would combine the planetary theme as well.hiredgun wrote:For all his work on the Amersterdam meet---The Wouter
In keeping with the space theme, Andromeda, Mercury, Apollo, Saturn.

Ted, you have a good point, but how does one remember what his knife is called? Telesto? Oberon? I can remember "Dragonfly"... :)phillipsted wrote:We were joking around in the "Earth" thread a couple of days ago, but I like the idea of naming a series of knives after moons in the solar system. NASA has cataloged over 336 named moons in the solar system - and some of them have pretty cool names:
- Ganymede
- Callisto
- Phobos
- Diemos
- Telesto
- Calypso (whoops!)
- Titania
- Oberon
...just to name a few...

I was thinking of some H1 knives named after the Great Lakes.
Superior
Michigan
Huron
Ontario
Erie
Or sticking with the water theme...
The Mississippi
The Nile
The Amazon
and so on.
How about mountains'
Rocky (of course)
Alps
Appalachian
McKinley (Denali)
Fuji
Ranier
maybe one from each continent?
