Hey Spin,

Hmmm, I don't think there is a Lefty-Cricket... Of course, you might be able to have one custom rigged with a clip on the left side if you find the right person. I think that Sword & Shield was into the Cricket modification process. (Check out the thread that had something to do with Modified Cricket.) I hope this helps ya'!

Take care,

Never mutated a Cricket, never even owned one. I believe Vampyre is the resident CricketNut.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Sorry 'bout that misunderstanding, Sword, this vile Virus must be effecting my memory patterns as well! But seriously, you really need to get a Cricket....its one sweet lil' blade. Just as ATE!

I was going to buy a Cricket when I went on a trip to some different cities and went to their malls. But sadly it was a whopping $60. So I am gonna wait and save up and get 2 Crickets for around $60 instead of just one

They had the most outrageous prices at that store..45 dollars for a Ladybug. Sheesh..

Spin,

No recollection of a sinestral (southpaw) Cricket. Vampyrewolf seems to be our resident Cricket Reconstructionist and tinkerer. He's out in the wilds of Canada doing some cadet training. Should be back in a few weeks.

KK,

Good to see you posting regularly again. That $60 price seems more resonable than the $68 that I just paid!! Wait a minute these are CF and so are the Dragonflys! Hamonoichiba strikes again!! Good plan on the Crickets. Forty-five clams for a Ladybug?? Double sheesh!

Stay safe! Stay sharp!

Yeah she's OKed it

The thing I am worrying about my next two knives (Police and Cricket) is that I will fall in love with them and that will lead to the desire to get every variation of them

And there are a lot of Police and Cricket variations so I hear

I've owned every cricket, but never seen any lefties. That hasn't stopped me from opening and closing it with my left hand.

You could drill 3 holes on the left side, and mount the clip yourself. Maybe use a little epoxy in the thread holes to hold it in. Just an idea.

Thanks for the advices people. Its one thing drilling holes and turn the clip to the other side, and its another thing altogether for a leftie to open and close the knife because of the liner lock and all that. umm...i think sal might want to consider producing some left-handed versions of this great little knife.

by the way, i don't see spyderco making any left-handed version of any knives lately, why? because of the small market perhaps?
