Can't wait...and I for one like the green patterned G-10 handles.
Of course the S110v does not hurt either.

Thanks for the Muddy Waters, Chuck. It's worth listening to again. It shows that you can be ready and calm and confident all at the same time. Going on my third month as a Spyderco fan, I'm not in much of a position to give advice on how to wait (let alone be worthy of a forum knife), but my old fun-running motto seems appropriate, (when waiting) "start out slow then ease off" :)

As for this thread, maybe someone should post a video of the sound track of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" :D

You know, on second thought, maybe it would be better if we wait
until the weather cools down a little, or until the kids are all settled
in school this fall.

Are you saying that 2013 Forum knife will be a great Christmas gift to us? :)

Yeah, and hey, since we got the green Para2, I can now say that I really like that color, which I wasn't at all sure about until it arrived. :)

This is the same color as Lil T, just different finish. Are you trying to say that you passed on Lil T???????????????????????
If yes, big, big, huge mistake.

senorsquare wrote:Welcome to the forums ManixFan. BBS says they expect to get another run of the Blue M390 Para 2's in 2014, so you should be able to get one if you are willing to wait.
Thanks for the welcome as well as the heads-up Senorsquare. I will definitely wait until 2014 then if that is the case. I am new to the knife forums but I am willing to bet that BBS would be Bento Box Store. I think that I can wait until next year - I am already planning on purchasing the following this year and that should be about all that I am willing to spend on this hobby for this year (I also have other hobbies that cost $$$).

1 - CF Native 5 (x1)
2 - Forum Native 5 (x2)
3 - CF Manix2XL S90V (not ready for pre-order yet at Knifeworks)
4 - Southfork

In any case - I think that numbers 1-4 add up to somewhere between $900-1000 so I think that will be my limit for my knife budget for this year. I also like flashlights  and my next purchase on that front will set me back a few bucks too (Fenix RC40)

Thank you for the welcome as well BAL - your post on the "shared" knife a la the video post analogy made me laugh and then think to myself....."but, but.... I really want to fondle my knife in private and I don't think that I could ever be into a group fondling session" although "not that there's anything wrong with that" (as Jerry Seinfeld would say).

Thanks for the photo of your Para-Military's Holland - a beautiful sight if I ever saw one! I'm really looking forward to picking up the Spyderco's I've mentioned (for this year) and then next year start off my wish list with the Blue PM when it's reintroduced.

Just saw one on ebay with a _starting_ bid of $325  Might be an interesting auction to watch.

Hey Manixfan, there are many "not that there's anything wrong with that"
moments around here. It's a funny little enabler/help group idealogy going
on sometimes, a catch 22 thing.
