By "not good" do you mean that it was bad? Or simply not a confirmation of what it was/stage of progress?

Well...I spoke with a gentlemen behind the counter and he made it sound like other "themed" knives were taking a priority. I guess he is referring to special runs for distributors. It sounded like Spyderco was releasing several of these runs.

I made the case that I was anxiously awaiting a forum knife, and he said maybe "Taz Kristi" knew more. I don't mean to be contrary to all the hope that this thread has produced, but it didn't sound encouraging. I hope I'm just being a pessimist.

Okay, so everything is ready for the launch of the forum knife. Spyderco staff will update more info in the coming weeks an also tell us which knife it is. Have a Coke whilst you wait. :D
