Green is a bad luck color for KW. :( A few years back there was another famous failure with a LE knife that had green scales.

Are you joking? Poor Taz already had to lock a thread over the forum blade. Green is the color of envy.

I'm just hoping for another run, at first I was peeved but KW has been good to me in the past. I've taken care of the comm breakdown on my end and that's all I can do!

Maybe someone should tally the posts here and elsewhere in which people swore they'd never do business with KW again. Wanna bet how long that lasts??? :D

Another run sounds like a great idea. This gets them into more users' hands while simultaneously tamping down the speculation and ridiculous secondary market prices.

Where did we hear that KW was thinking about ordering another 400 by the way? Was it posted on their site?

Yes, it was:

"Due to the overwhelming demand of this product, we do have the option to run 400 extra pieces of the Spyderco Para Military and we will try to get this done., As of now we do not have any time or date on these, We will update as soon as we get information, we will not pre-order this item, but we will take email's to be notified as when they will be up for sale."

It will be a repeat of Thursday morning- "refresh, refresh, refresh, server error, out of stock". Somehow the flippers have ways of getting theirs. Just like with concert tickets- 50,000 tickets go on sale and the ticket scalpers get 90% of them. OK I have an idea- for all the people that don't like being called "flippers" we can from now on call them "scalpers".

Having bought (or tried to buy) Comic Con tickets every year for the last 7+ years, I'm more familiar with that pattern than I'd like to be. :D

I'll be happy with one supersteel, nice-scaled PM2 at a non-gouged price. If it doesn't happen with this next release of 400, I'll just try again the next time. M4 anyone?

It took six days to sell out the 700 preorders. Should be interesting to see how fast the 400 sell.

Indeed. Bento is expecting their next run of blues sometime in 2014. It may be a while before we see more greens, but I'm always up for pleasant surprises.
