Don't own a Stretch, but it is the standard peel-ply carbon fiber that is similar to the usual textured G10. Very nice looking and good traction in the hand. :spyder:

I just checked the new Millie against the Strectch ZDP--they feel the same, but the underlying pattern is slightly different. Either way, they're both super-nice blades to have! I hope you get yours soon.
Spyderbitten in 2011 and haven't been the same since.

What're 01-12 and 09-10?

January 2012 and September 2010?

Dates commissioned?

Never realized that stamped those numbers on the blades.

I've seen that technique used to retain some lubricant for other moving surfaces.

Could very well be simple anchor points used in the machining process, but I'm only guessing...

It arrived!! It does look like it is a different weave. This is a nice knive...definitely worth the wait!

I have not been contacted for final payment on mine. I paid the deposit on Sept 16th. when did you all pay your deposit?

Sept. 15th deposit by paypal, have not received anything on that one so I called and gave my credit card info yesterday.

My son ordered his on the 15th but used his credit card; it came today. They seem to be shipping credit card orders first.

You need to call or email them. I paid w/paypal on the 15th and hadn't gotten a response you know they must be tooo busy. Ashley will help you out.

The same story with paypal deposit. They had problem with paypal at that time. I called them last Friday and gave cc to avoid delay this time. Yours should be shipped shortly. If you concerned contact them. roger is a nice guy.
