We're back.... Report Issues Here!

Post by TazKristi »

Welcome to the newly upgraded Spyderco Forum! As with everything new we all know glitches can occur. If you have any issues (errors, little red "x's", etc.) please report them here in this thread.

Hope you enjoy our new home. :D
There is nothing more important than this one day.

Thanks Kristi :) , no glitches discovered yet, still getting used to the new look. We all get attached to our visual cues, but this more modern and streamlined look is very appealing :) Just a matter of adjusting the cues ;)

Thanks for the update, it looks nice.

Issue: When I try to login on http://www.spyderco.com/forums/ (not sure why I was there, my bookmark doesn't point me to there), it pushes me to spyderco.com/forums/ and I get the following message:

Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.spyderco.com/forums/)

Okay, so maybe my bookmark does point me to there, I changed my bookmark to take out the "www." and the problem went away.

I like the looks so far.

It could just be my P.O.S. computer, but I'm not seeing avatars next to forum members' names.

Looks like avatars are not showing? How about anyone else?

Yeah, it was working a few minutes ago and not now, maybe they are working on it.

Seems like right after I reply I can see the avatar but if I go out of the thread and back in then it will not show. Same with threads I may have posted on days ago.

Also noticed that I cannot edit the text (like bold, or italics, or change the font color).

Side note: I'm not complaining I just figured the Spyderco folks would want to know about the bugs to fix 'em. No worries here. :)

I'm having the same trouble with Avatars myself. Sometimes they show up, but then they disappear.

Overall, I like the new look and feel... Nice work guys!

Avatars are coming and going it seems.

EDIT:
After posting that, my avatar shows up but nobody elses does.

I think the invalid URL issue has to do with checking the "remember me" box because after closing out my browser, it doesn't remember me and i have to log back in, and then i get the message again.

My Yeti is missing.

On the plus side, I just completed 6 hours of actual...work. *highfive!*

Note: My avatar is showing in off-topic though.

I can't login on my iPhone (using Safari). When I try, it will briefly say "thank you for logging in", then once it redirects, I'm not logged in. The same thing happens over and over.

Nevermind. The settings on my phone somehow got changed. It's working now.

The time in the Last Post: column in the New Posts display is being shown incorrectly, such as:

Last Post: Today 10:.'

or in a similar fashion, using Firefox 10.0

It's not remembering me when I sign in, even when I check the little box that says "remember me". (have to log in each time I visit).

No issues to report...just a "thank you" for the upgrade. The new look is appealing. I appreciate the attention and hard work that obviously went into the project. Congratulations to everyone at Spyderco involved in the upgrade !
