meanest+baddest ?

Post by sam the man.. »

Dear Spydernuts,

Which <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>, in your humble opinion, is the meanest and baddest of them all?

Personally, I choose the Police.. This is one mean looking blade you must have in your 16-pocket Spyderpack... Well, I'm yet to aquire one.. Soon! <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Did you forget about the Civilian? It makes the Police model look like a child's plaything.

Police are there to protect and serve but nothing can protect against the uber-Lecterian Civilian. CF or G10 handled and with the SE blade if you please. Nothing can tame and cow a wild herd of sheeple easier except an assault rifle!!

Aye, the Civvie is indeed a wicked blade. But, how about the Bram Gunting? Or the Jot Singh Kalsa? <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Now there are two blades I wouldn't want to be on the 'working end' of!<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Mike

I think the Military also has some very good "meanest+badest" qualities as well. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I think that perhaps the "meanest+baddest" looking might be the Civi...But then, the Ayoob and the Chinook don't look very "friendly", either.

Well, it goes two ways, common and specialized.

The Civilian would obviously be king of the specialized market, though limited in EDC use.

The Police would probably rule the common market, simply because it is both intimidating and useful.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Jaxon,

A man of my own heart!! Dirty Harry must carry a Civie come to think of it!!

Mike,

Ah! Throwing in a couple of Dark Horses eh?? The Gunting can get you in so many different ways - it's mean enough that many LEOs just carry the trainer and it still works wonders!I've been looking for a Khalsa! I think the Ayoob with its angled down blade would be another evil contender too. Speaking of different blades, Toothed, nice imput on the Shabaria! SE and another 2 - 3" and the Civie might run for cover.

Good post Sam<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>!!

Gotta go with the Shabaria...altough that Civilian is nasty!!! Gunting and Khalsa are also close contenders. In actuallity I wouldn't want to be on the business end of a Ladybug come to think of it! LOL

I reckon, definitely the Civillian and it's little bro, Matriarch. Pull that out in front of anyone, and their eyes will pop out as soon as they see the shape of the blade!

If only they were available here in Australia, I would be a much happier man!

One it comes to the meanest and the baddest of anything it will
usually be the one you least suspect and selsom think of.

So in terms of sheer cutting power (that's what a knife is all
about, right?) my vote will always go for the large Calypso.
Other than the chinese none of the other spyderco's are peer
with the Calypso. Vg-10 inm a thin flat ground blade in a
tried and true cutting shape.......will win everytime.

Slice'm up city!!!!!!

SE ENDURA for the budget baddest <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

anyone think it would go easier in court if you used the Orange Rescue, less combat looking and the lack of a point, it looks much more EMS than SWAT. <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

mmmmmm.. the civilian.. looks bad, well, a bit mean, but for practical reasons, I still think the Police is the meanest of them all. Don't be fooled by its handsome looks..

Meanest = merlin in SE
Baddest = military in SE

IMO, the Civilian is the ultimate meanest and baddest of all <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s.
However, the SE Endura isn't exactly a pushover either.
And one cannot forget how the Military can be very intimidating to the sheeple.<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
