There are a ton of reasons to love a lockback but end-all strength isn't one of them. The only Spyderco ones to earn a 200 lbs+/inch rating are the Manix and Chinook which were quite heavy.

Any lock can be designed for any rating. The Comp Lock has less penalties for this than some due to the engineering behind it.

I'd like to see more knives featuring Schempp wheat heads on their blades. Especially in classic scales like micarta or natural materials.

How about a Spyderco Pry Tool? I know its not a knife feature but it would be a nice extra that could come with certain models... the assist perhaps?

A big beefy flipper would be awesome! Any flipper, really. I also love the compression lock, and would like rougher, more aggressively textured G-10 on some models, and some more deep-carry, 4-way clips. But, overall, I love what Sal and co is doing already.

There is nothing wrong with anything mentioned. Just personal preferences.

Paul hates the dent, I like it. Neither is wrong but the thread is asking for personal opinions. Same goes for locks, steels and grinds.

Less focus on flashy materials, more focus on practical materials. (I.e: g-10 over carbon fiber, aluminum over Titanium for everything but framelocks.)
Fewer light-coloured G-10. (Blue is ok, O.D. is too light.)
More wire clips!
More long blades.
Fewer liner-locks.

Most of all... stay the course!

I'm with Jackson on most of that.

Economical offerings are important. I love my knives but they are tools. If you're gonna crank the msrp do so for functional sake (blade steel).

I want some smaller knives with compression locks. I would buy a Sage with a compression lock in half a heart beat.

In no particular order:

1) +1 on compression lock.
2) A little bit thicker handles on the harder use models.
3) Color options.
4) Some HHGs
5) Thicker blades, when appropriate for the model

6) Not really in the spirit of this thread, but I would love a reverse-s FFG fully serrated H1 model with a leaf-ish style blade--on the thick side.
Do no harm. Do know harm.

I like the way the both of you think. I am not really into to bling. I would prefer it if my knives were flashy by way of silly colours (e.g. hot pink, neon green, etc.) rather than through expensive and exotic materials.

I guess you could say I want more outrageous colours (pink please!), even though they probably will never sell as well as black. Some funky coloured anodized aluminum handles could be interesting.
