Salt 1, PE, yellow FRN.

I had Tom Krein give it a full flat grind and it has been used thoroughly. I've cut everything from carpet to fruit with it. I love it and will never get rid it. It still sees regular use as my running knife. :)

Delica PE around 1999. Not sure if it was a Delica3. Wish I still had the dang thing.

A Delica many years ago. It is fully serrated and has the integrated plastic clip. I still have it around here somewhere.

It was a SS Pro-Venator that I got around '92 or '93, and used hard for many years. That reminds me - it's coming up on its 20th birthday!

First proper Spyderco was a 203 Sharpmaker (only had the 40 degree setting and a nylon bag). :) That's all it took for me!!!

Mine was a Delica. I can't remember if it was a II or a III, but it was SS and SE. It got stolen in a move and looking for a replacement led me here and to owning now over 100 Spydies. Thank you shady movers! :) lol

Hey guy you've even got me beat :D I thought I was going to chime in with a very old model but you've got me by a couple of years or so.

My very first Spyder was one I bought at a 1995 Gun Show here in Kansas City MO>> And that vendor still goes to the KC gun shows by the way.

From him I got a GIN-1 SE Mariner with the stainless handle. That knife made a firm believer out of me and I purchased many Spyders from that time on.

I dearly loved the Mariner and hope it will be resurrected in a Sprint run at some point. And GIN-1 wasn't that bad of steel at all for that time period.

My first Spyderco was a Sharpmaker in the early 1980's. A friend owned a cutlery store in Denver and turned me on to it. I still own it but use a far more recent model 204 SM. the old one has a single bevel angle of about 45 degrees.

My first Spyderco knife was a ZDP Delica, many years later.

Way back in 1995 or so I bought a black serrated Snap-it, I still use it as my climbing knife. It has spread more butter and cut alot more sausage that it has cut rope but its still nice to have hanging on the harness.
