My first Spyderco purchase of the year will likely be the Dragonfly Salt (or maybe the VG-10 version. Still on the fence about that)

What will be yours?

I have NEVER heard a harder question to answer. I have some "beginning of the year" expenses to get out of the way so it will be a while before I get a knife so even though I have a list I don't know which will be the first. A lot of the time I buy from my "next" list but which one off the list is based on a last minute whim. :) I've even thought about flipping a coin to decide. :D

I'm thinking the Manix-XL or a Citadel.

Hard to say. Depends on which of the three or four new ones I expect to purchase is released first, or (far less likely) if one of the two or three older pieces still on my "WTB" list happens to pop up for sale on eBay or the forums at a price that's not totally obscene.

I already ordered a Military, Endura 4 XDP and Pacific Salt H1 just after Christmas but they are not here yet.

Beyond that, a Sage 1 CF or a Dragonfly are the most likely next targets.

Depends on how soon the Yojimbo 2 gets back in stock and readily available. It'll either be that or i track down a 20CP Para 2. I plan on getting both eventually.

Either the Manix XL, Sage 1, or the Mules.

Tough call...maybe I'll hold off until my M390 Millie is here...then look at other sprints. Money is tight this year, so gotta be selective. But I want a few...

I'm hoping mine is the Bayoushooter Endura. Black and OD is my favorite combo.

Happy New Year dear forumites!

I am hunting for the sprint Massab Ayoob. It caught my attention because of its concept. I am wondering how that knife behaves as an EDC and I like its form more and more....

All the best for 2012,
Tomas

I can't say yet, either. Probably the Manix 2 XL since that will likely be more available, but I'm still on the fence about that one (hoping for interesting sprints). So, it'll probably be one of these: Pygmy Warrior, Air, Sage 4, Techno, Lionspy, or maybe a surprise Spyderco still has up its sleeve?

I'm waiting on pre-orders for the orange Dodo, orange Para 2, and CF M390 Military. I wonder which will arrive first?

Jim at Howe's says that they have been invoiced for a shipment of Manix XL's for January 3rd...so hopefully my preorder will be filled and that will be the first Spyderco of 2012 for me.

Most likely the orange Dodo will be my first. This may be a slow Spydie year for me unless I win the lottery.
