I used my Millie to cut a tag off of my shirt. I wish there were more tags to cut!

I used my first Jester to open the box that held my second Jester. I really like that little knife. First knife I ever bought two of the exact same model. The tip is what I really like.

I used my XHP Millie to slice open some heavy duty plastic and carefully dislodged a tiny piece of rock from some tooling we use at work; it was caught in a hole.

I cut a few donuts with my Millie. Then let it loose on a few mail packages that came to me. But the best one I want to share is this.

GB sliced up this Gala apple. I was tempted to let the patina begin, but gave in and washed the blade with soap and water after.

The other day I was checking the gate on my backyard fence because it wouldn't close properly. ( treated lumber that has dried and warped a bit over time. )

I did a few things and tried adjusting things with the tools I have but nothing was going to work. I was going to have to borrow a wood plane from my dad in law...

As I was walking away, I realized my Para2 was in my pocket so I whipped it out and went at that gate and post in all the areas where it was rubbing. 5 minutes later, I had a big pile of shavings on the ground and my fence closed nicely...

I was actually amazed at how easily that thing sliced through that wood and the edge was still very sharp afterwards. I've been using a Wicked Edge since Christmas and I have to say that the final stropping step that I never used to do seems to have a huge effect on edge retention.

So I was feeling a tad gloomy due to the few issues I had with my SB Caly 3.5 today. Used it to cut up a larger box and make a smaller one to ship the Caly to Spyderco in.

The smaller box came out rather well. So packed the Caly in it and took it to the post office to post it. As usual, post office has rules and my own box could not be used. So had to buy another box (which was incidentally the same size as the one I cut up) to put the smaller box in for posting. Oh well, day was really getting very gloomy now. At least I had fun making the smaller box.

So posted it to Spyderco today in a box with much stuffing as I could find so that the actual Caly don't bounce about too much. Apologies in advance to Spyderco staff who will be opening it when received.

I am carrying the PPT today. Just a tad displeased that I did not get a chance to use the knife except for this staged photo taken with the iPhone.
