Ladybug sheath question

#1

Post by AH2525 »

For anyone with the Countycomm ladybug sheath, does it fit the hawkbill ladybugs?

Or, does anyone know of a kydex sheath for the Hawkbill ladybugs?
Thanks

I'm sure there are a few kydex makers that could fold one up. I might have to try that with mine one day.

I would suggest sending a message to Mike at River City Sheaths. I believe I have seen ladybug sheaths that they have done in the past. You might need to send the knife to him to ensure a proper fit.

I thought about getting one of those kydex sheaths because I have my ladybug attached to a small flashlight with paracord. The flashlight has a pocket clip. The paracord is about 2" long. Sometimes the knife used to hang outside my pocket like a FOB. Once I looked down and the Ladybug was hanging there open and locked. I guess something grabbed the hole in the blade and opened the knife without me noticing. I put a small FOB attached to the flashlight that hangs outside the pocket and the knife is in my pocket. One of those sheaths would allow me to let the knife hang outside the pocket and I could remove the knife without taking the light out.

yes the countycomm sheath fits the hawkbill ladybugs

It does tend to separate the edge just a tad but it definitely holds it securely. I have carried my H1 Hawkbill SE ladybug in it many times :)
