I am looking forward to the LionSpy, but I would also like to see this steel in a Para 2, Manix 2, Milli, Native 5, or other FFG model.

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

Mmmmmm....Millie in Elmax would be sweet! I only have one Elmax blade and that is my composite ZT 0350. I love that little beast though and have really enjoyed the Elmax steel.

Come on Sal, do it!! :D

+1 on Native5 and Para.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

+1 on Native5. Not because I don't want it in CPM-S35VN (I still want an example of this steel) but because Elmax is so much more highly acclaimed. The promised fluted Ti scales seem to call for a more highly reputed blade steel.

I'd love to see Elmax in the Native 5. I am eager to get one but not in S30V/S35VN. If not Elmax, then CTS XHP will do. :p

I'm still waiting for lionspy with elmax. I sure hope the delays aren't due to production problems with the steel.

Right now, we only have the LionSpy and the Mule Team scheduled.

Hi Slach,

The delays in the LionSpy were due to steel production problems.

So we'll need to see reactions to the Steel as well as make sure we can get it when we need it. If both of those go well, then you will more than likely see more Elmax from Spyderco.

Thanks for fast and honest reply. Hope it works itself out, so we can see more of this steel being used in the future. As you're well aware of it's quite popular with many of us steel geeks.
