a mid-sized spyder with a delica-like feel and a liner lock? Something close to the sage in size but with vg 10 and g-10/frn scales? Just wondering... because i would love a user with vg-10 that opened smooth and quick. Something like the lum would be perfect if it didn't look like it feels so slippery

The Khukuri has VG-10, a liner lock and G-10 scales. But its shape is a little unusual. Also the Barong, but it's larger than a Delica.

Yeah, I don't really know of anything else, except maybe the Rock Lobster. If you are open to other steels, there are some other options like the Zulu, Des Horn or Michael Walker. And of course there's the Sage 1 or Tenacious line.

i want to get the sage and try out s30v. i think it's a little underrated on these forums, so maybe i'll not need to stick with vg 10

Well, the first that comes into my mind is the Wegner jr.

and the slightly larger Impala:

There would also be the Terzuola Starmate - but it's closer to the Endura rather than the Delica in size.

All of the abovementioned are discontinued models.

There's supposed to be a Starmate sprint in the works, right?

The Sage 1 is awesome, great blade, great size, and the carbon fiber scales are great, they look very good, and actually provide traction. I'm in love with the thing. S30v is a great steel. Not hard to work with either. The Sage also has the excellent wire pocket clip, which I didn't think I'd like, but I love it.

Don't let the CF scare you away, it has a great texture, and it just looks awesome.

Here's a little comparison for you.

rwb1500, i love the pictures you posted. Those are two beautiful knives.

I think the sage is a great suggestion. if not that one, the titanium one.
