Held one on Friday night. I love the handle because it fits my hand. Blade opens very smoothly. Can't wait to get mine.

Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Is it here yet? :)

Can't wait. Plus, I have a NIB black Yojimbo headed my way. Scored it in a trade and am soooo happy. I traded off my blue Yojimbo a while back and have regretted it ever since. Now, I will have both versions, in black. :D :D

Congrats, Billy. That will certainly help hold off the cravings until the Yo 2 arrives.

Sooo, thought I'd ask the obvious question here...any updates yet on the ETA of Yojimbo 2? I'm starting to have dreams about them...

This baby got too far away from page 1. Just thought I'd remind Sal and the team :)

Early next week, I think I'll order one so it gets here before Thanksgiving!

Same here, I just scored a NIB Black one as well and it should be here soon. I hope to get the new one right away so I have both to play with and compare. If not though the original will have to hold me over till then.

They must have only gotten a few, they were limited to one per person, and sold out in about 2 hours

I'm holding out for the local knife shop to get one for me. I remember when this whole preorder thing happened with the Para 2, people were straight ordering them once it was released and getting them before people with preorders got theirs.

On the bhq sale page. I chuckled
"Limit ONE per customer. If you order more than one, we will have to cancel your order and you will be forced to cry a thousand lost Yojimbo 2 tears...."

I just picked one up from the SFO on Friday (only 4 left in stock after I got mine). It is the biggest 3" folder I have carried, as the blade looks much bigger than it is. The S30v is thick, yet the knife is lighter than I expected. Just an awesome piece. Being from Philly, I had Spyderco ship my haul home rather than risk taking it on the plane back (the TSA went through all my knives on the plane trip here, but that's another story).
The important thing was that I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time. You couldn't get white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...
