Actually I have been noticed that it looks like you guys have been doing a bunch of noodling over there on this knife. It see a bunch of new developements. It looks nice.

Question...

What is the purpose or advantage of having the lockback spring like the Native 5 instead of the old way? I'm just curious and wondered.

It looks to me like it would provide more leverage which, if true, means both greater down force on the lock pawl and a stronger bias to closing. Also, unlike the old style, there's no possible way for the spring to move out of position. Not to mention being idiot proof, since it can't possibly be put in backward.
