decided to try a native5 because of the bushing pivot and g-1:cool:

very glad i did-this feels as solid as the sage3-fits my hand well-

to make this quality at this price in america shows just how well spyderco can crunch numbers in these trying times

Which do you like more - the Native 5 or Sage 3?

I'm impressed enough by mine that I'm already thinking about what kind of wood to have someone replace the G-10 scales with.

To OP,

I know i'm probably the minority here, but i miss the signature swedge. I'm waiting for someone to have one custom ground. I can't wait to handle one though, i'll probably buy one. Me and the Native go way back.

The swedge is still there...its just a smaller classier more grown up swedge. :D

Nonsense...i prefer the immature adolescent mall ninja swedge LOL

I agree the N5 is a hands-down winner. Seems like a close relative to the old Mini-Manix; it's got some heft, it's just as lean, smaller in size and slimmer in it's proportions. Kinda mean looking! -P

For sure, I can convince myself that I will pass up on a particular model, only to have a picture or two pop and then here I am thinking about it again. It's a sickness.
