Excellent pictures and story! I have family up in Inuvik, and I always relish the chance to be a part of a hunt. I took part in an unforgettable moose hunt a few years ago where my uncles took a cow and a calf right off of a moving houseboat, but unfortunately didn't have any Spydies on me at the time. Although on a more recent trip, I did help a few of my aunts and uncles butcher a caribou they'd taken from somewhere along the Dempster. I'm happy to say that the Sage 1 did beautifully, despite its small size, and the open pillar construction made clean up a breeze.

The Impala looks to be an ideal folder for skinning and processing. I'll definitely have to hunt one down one of these days to prepare for my next trip up north!

And hey, enjoy all that beautiful meat you have! I'm jealous, as it's been too long since I've tasted moose or caribou (my favourite). Take care.
