my question is if anyone knows the msrp, the average streetprice and the price a manixII s90v go for nowadays.
not that i'm trying to sell or even wanting, it's one of my favourite edc knives :D , but i am wondering what those prices were/are
Thanks for any info you could provide :D

With the number made its almost impossible to set a price. There aren't any (or few) comparables which makes pricing quite random.razorback1595 wrote:my question is if anyone knows the msrp, the average streetprice and the price a manixII s90v go for nowadays.

I would think something in the $300 range would be a good deal. There could be someone willing to shell $450-600 if wanting it bad enough. I can't say one is accurate or rational as mentioned, it's comparison shopping for unicorns.
Personally I'd wait for the next hot m2 or para2 in an exotic. It's a matter of time.

thanks, i'm happy i've bought it for $255 second hand when they were pretty new :Djabba359 wrote:MSRP: $269.95
Original Street Price: $175-225
Aftermarket Price: ??? I don't follow the prices on this particular knife and don't recall seeing them for sale often. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say ~$350-400.

I'm not kidding - I paid $75 for a New in Box. It was in perfect condition. Extremely long story. A dealer/rep who sold a variety of knife lines sold it on eBay, but partially mis-marked it. I was the only one to contact him for clarification and picked up a great deal. He didn't care because it was "free" to him, for some reason - as a rep.
I use it and love it, and some how have kept it in great shape. In my opinion it is my most favorite Spyderco. I love the S90V steel so much I bought (3) Para 2s in S90V/CF thinking they would be come my users. Unfortunately that single Manix 2 in S90V/CF is still my favorite, hands down. I'm going to force myself to start using the Para 2s. I'm being silly - those are insanely nice knives.
Isn't it amazing how discriminate we can be when we have these choices? Thank you Spyderco! You guys & gals rock!
