try www.newgraham.com for a pretty full line-up of Spydies at some of the best available prices.

Also try www.knifeworks.com - pretty much the best customer service around. They do not carry a full line-up, but I know they have the harpy.

Craig,
If you want discontinued model John F. Jensen is also a good dealer. I saw he had police ats-55 G-10 ~$88.

Eknifeworks.com has about the best prices and turnaround time I've found on the net. Their selection is also quite expansive.

By the way, Welcome to <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Land, Craig!

Welcome to <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>land, craig!<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I also recommend Glasshartt(from this <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> forum). Her prices are excellent for any Spydie that you may be looking for.

Good Luck.

Craig, the Harpy and the Police model are worlds apart. I can't imagine how this is an either-or decision.

Maybe you can elaborate on intended use.

I bought three of my five Spydie from www.knivesandtools.com, a Dutch knife-shop. Good, fast and reliable service.

Both the Harpy and the Police are very nice knives, but they are really different. Actually the Harpy is my favorite <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>. Choose according to what you want to do with them. The best thing is to buy them both.

I have never handled a Police model. I have owned a Harpy. I find the Harpy a bit specialized for overall use. It is a fabulous pull cutter, but can be limited in its versatility.

Other lock back models you might be interested in could be the Native II (a great design for overall use) or the Endura II. Either of these are great multipurpose designs with stainless handles and lockback mechanisms. In particular, the Native has one of the most secure grips I have ever found in any folding knife. A truly great design.
