you know you love spyderco when your taking the bark off a tree branch with your new 20cp para 2, cut the **** out of your hand... and immediately after making a finger splint and a bandage you check the edge on some junk mail just to check how well the edge you reprofiled held up :D
i want to hear everyones "You know you love spyderco when" stories
i am now en route to the local store to get super glue to close the wound lol.... when i get back i want to see lots of stories!!!

What? You didn't clean the blood off the blade first.
Seriously, I hope you are healing well.

You know you love spydies when you cut yourself and the first thing you do is check for is edge damage when you dropped the knife. :D

I consider myself a dedicated Spyderco fan, but I have to say Wouter's (Mr Blonde) honeymoon trip from the Netherlands to Golden is going to be very hard to top.

You know you love Spyderco when you receive for your birthday a $400 wildly popular and well built folder from an esteemed competitor of Spyderco, and within a week it is pushed out of your pocket by a $50 Endura.
You know you love Spyderco when you would gladly invest 10+ hours of your time, and hundreds of dollars worth of tools (purchased exclusively for this task) ,modifying a Spyderco that cost under 80 bucks.
It is a great knife when you are willing to invest yourself in it. How much of yourself you invest is proportional to the true "value" you hold for the piece.
