Anybody for a chokwe in a supersteel?

I would like a chokwe in S90V, or 20CP, or better still S110V. Anybody for this?

I really love my Chokwe how it is but i would probably buy any Chokwe variation. I just dont understand the steels enough to care if its a " super steel" and just want a steel that holds a nice edge that i can sharpen easily. :)

The only reason I don't own the Chokwe is because S30V and I don't get along too well. So on that note yes, but I'd rather go the fine grained route rather than big bad boy carbides.

S30V is a supersteel, but I agree it would be awesome to see it in a more exotic, super-super edge holding steel.

My No. 1 choice would probably be CTS-20CP. XHP would be awesome as well. S110v would be crazy, but it and S90V would be more expensive most likely, and 20cp is just as good as S90V so that would be my vote. While they're at it, they should put a different material for the front scale--maybe a colored G-10 (I'd pick earth brown or dark blue like the original ZDP stretch in FRN), and maybe polish the G-10. CF would be cool too, although I think something other than the standard Taiwan twill CF would be more special, peel ply or polished would be my choice.

Oh yeh, I totally agree. I love my spydies in S30V but I probably meant a more super supersteel than S30V. :D

20CP would be awesome!!!!

I think the price difference in S90V and 20cp isn't that much different. I can't say for sure but I know the S90V para2 wasn't much more than the 20cp version. Of course you have to consider the carbon fiber too which is a little more than the price of g10. Either steel would be nice though. And would make for an excellent slicer that would rarely need sharpening. I hope the day comes when spyderco starts shipping the high carbide steels to taiwan.

I love the Chokwe and I'd love to see it in other steels. I would also like to see a slightly smaller version (3" to 3.5" blade) to facilitate EDC.

I think there was about a $45 difference in price between those models. Most of that is probably the G-10 versus CF, though.

CPM 15V, either Gayle Bradley style CF or a Dark blue G10.

But to be realistic Ill take an M4 Chokwe with the same handle as stated above.

In spirit of the Chokwe, one of the design requirements was that the Chokwe tribe lives in a wet area. It had to have a good stainless steel, I wouldn't mind seeing it stay with the theme and go with S90V or 20CP or XHP.

My preference would be XHP.

I like the Spyderco Chokwe far more than I thought I would, so I'd be interested in the same current design in another steel.

I have been lurking for quite a while but this thread turns me into a first-time poster here! My Chokwe has become my go-to edc over my Gayle Bradley, Military and two other G10/Titanium folders. I find it's blade length/handle length ratio, slim profile and high quality materials and build quality to be hard to beat; especially at the price I found mine (a touch above $100USD).

I would be very interested in any variation of the Chokwe, especially in a different handle colour/material and blade steel.

I love my Chokwe but doubt I would buy another one just to have it in a different steel, unless the steel were so unique that it had never been used on another Spyderco.
