RIP Delica Wave  . I would like to see what that Delica did to the lawn mower blade... I bet it took a nice chunk out before it got mangled :)

Was it moded before or did it knock that portion out of the spine above the hole? That seems odd that it could fail like that. (not defective ;) , just odd).
Thanks,

Here is what happened....Nice wave delica laying in waiting on the lawn, hidden amongst the tall tall grass....waiting for just the right moment, as the lawn mower passes overhead it determines it's vulnerability, and attempts a first strike, but it's too late....the mower blade goes after the delica with two sharp blades....one blade catches the wave and opens the delica as the second mower blade spins the delica around and cuts through the spyderhole, the delica flips onto it's back trying a cool MMA move only to find the mower blade once again too quick to deal with and it's FRN scales are sliced off in one MBC defanging the snake slash....Notice how the delica still has some FRN left at the butt end. The only thing that saved the delica's butt was the mower's decision that the sneaky delica had enough, Now whoever said there is no such thing as a blade on blade knife fight. BTW: Check the mowers grass clipping bag for the rest of the remains of that delica....it deserves a proper burial, but not in the lawn....the evil mower has ways of sniffing these kind of things out.....As far as I'm concerned the the double edged mower won this one for sure.....Fixed blades RULE!!!!! If I were you I'd carry that mower with me everywhere I went....Make it your new EDC..... :p Doc :D

Ouch, indeed. Perhaps this is a job for the Spyderco Parts Kit, C10&C11KIT...

http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=290

The only thing lacking in the kit are the FRN scales... and the lock spring...

I was thinking that as well. :) Duct tape is an amazing thing.

Maybe a double-bladed Dyad would have evened things up a little bit. But it's still a folder vs. fixed blade!

Peter Jackson's Dead-Alive shows just how effective a lawnmower is as an EDC when wielded against zombies. You can see it in action here (warning: not for the faint of heart!).

The question is... how to conceal the mower. Doc? I'm listening... :p

WTF happened to it? (I'm not quite buying Doc's explanation on this one... :D )

We demand to see the rest of its remains!
I just wanna see what it did to the other liner and lockbar, and in how many pieces the scales are. :)
