Yes, perfectly normal. Spyderco rounded it off a bit on the Delica 4 to add strength.

If by "normal" you mean "factory original", then yes, it is. Personally, I think the new "reinforced tip" on the fourth generation Endura and Delica looks like an amateur regrind of a broken tip. I always regrind mine as soon as I get them.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to make sure I didn't get a used Delica with a regrind.
