Not sure if the next blade steel has been released?
But these two are still available on the Spyderco website, so it might be a while......

Mule Team 9 (Cobalt Special) - PlainEdge (MT09P)
Mule Team Aogami Super Blue - PlainEdge (MT08P)

I have a couple Woodcraft (semi) Mules in the mail..........
Am thinking a link is OK as it was an exclusive from Spyderco to Woodcraft.
If not, let me know...... :)

I seem to recall something about M390 being one of the next steels.

edit: When asked for "Any plans to use Bohler M390 steel?", here was Sal's reply (09-08-2010):

Carpenter's 20CP had been planned for a Mule as well at one point, and I think it would be very well received considering it's similarity to the ever popular CPM-S90V. But this was discussed back in January 2010, so plans may have changed:

CTS-20CP will be available as a Mule Team...

I just pulled the trigger on one also. It looks like it is a great design. Does anyone know the back story on them? How many were made, etc?

I like the term "Semi-Mule" - it kind of fits! We could also call it the "Donkey"...

Agree! I think I am a little paranoid after missing the M4 and 52100 mules (I missed the S90v, too, but found one since.)

It seems like it should be time for the cts-20cp to come out.

Yeah, I saw that. I will probably get the Elmax mule. Just wish it was a donkey instead. Mule pattern never really did it for me.

The thing that I really like about the donkey isn't the shape, I am not a huge choil person, but I like how much thicker it is.
