So did the Hawkbill Ladybug sell well enough to start experimenting with other blade styles? Laybug Tanto? Ladybug Wharnecliffe?

Great idea, I think that would be a homerun. I wonder which model is spyderco's all time most sold. My guess would be the ladybug or delica.

+1 on ladybug blade variations!

I'm pretty sure that I heard the Delica/Endura series are the most selling. On topic, a Ladybug with those different bladeshapes is a pretty cool idea.

A tanto would be very cool, if it had the same grind as the Lum Tanto folder.

A wharnie would be useful but I'm leaning towards Tanto for sure. It would be fun to see how popular it was because I would think (total speculation) it would be a nice demographic sampling for a Delica Tanto sprint.

Frankly the drop points are awesome but I'm always open to a new flavor in a proven handle :) .

I am by no means a tanto fan, but i think a tanto blade would add a whole lot of "manliness" to the little knife haha but i wouldnt mind a wharncliffe either

Aesthetically, I really like the look of a tanto blade, but since getting a Cento 4 a couple months ago, I've really come to appreciate the utility of the wharny blade. Put me down for both!!

Wharncliffe please. I'd also like to see a re-run of Jesters. I love the blade shape.

I buy knives to use and i cant see any benefits of a tanto Ladybug. Now a ladybug with a wharncliffe i could use. Or would that be a FRN Kiwi lock back?

"more little big knives"

#18

Post by buddy54ck »

:spyder: :spyder:
I always carry a "Little Big Knife" of some sort daily. They are usually My most used knives, and I feel another version of the Ladybug would be a big seller.
Either or is fine with Me, they would definately be collectable and fun. Seeing the Tanto was originally designed to pierce armor, I doubt that Sal would consider it, especially w/FRN handles, It wouldn't be very strong, but it would be a novelty. I also agree with Orion's Belt, on doing a Sprint Run with the Jester, as I'm sure that alot of forum members would like this also.
Just My 2 cents this Morning!

P.S. : I really would love to see a Tanto Delica or Endura, seeing These are what I have the most of. They would greatly add to the collection.

We still need a ladybug rescue. A tanto ladybug would be dam cool, but not very functional. A wharncliffe ladybug would be dam cool and functional.
