Has an aluminum variant been discussed or announced? I thought the Native V was coming out in G-10 to be followed by FRN?v8r wrote:Native II Is the best so far, can't wait for the 5th Gen with aluminum handles.
I think the feel of the Native in its current incarnation suffers against something like the Delica 4 because of the difference in technologies used for each. The D4 has steel liners, PB washers, latest manufacturing standards. It puts the Native at an immediate disadvantage since most (I know I do) like the feel of knives today with the tighter tolerances and improved materials.kawr wrote:I was about to get a LW Native but after handling one in person I have to say I'm a bit disappointed and changed my mind about purchasing one. It feels kinda cheap when opening the knife and has this gritty, scraping feeling to it. The Delica feels like the better knife. Again this is just based purely on how the Native feels when opening/closing the blade. I think overall build quality is pretty solid for a linerless, pinned construction knife. I'll just wait till the almighty Native 5 is released.
I do! I currently have 10 Natives, including my EDC which is a blue G-10 BladeForums Native PE. I'm sure the number of Natives in my collection will continue to grow.Bladespec wrote:anyone agree???
