Post by MCM »

Tried to get another an LE going with Roger at KW, and someone is already doing it!

1st time that's happened.......

Will be a great knife, submitted Blue Para 2 with M4.
Was really surprised to hear its already in the works.

No idea who, but will keep my eyes open for it. ;)

Sounds good! I hope it's dark blue and not smurf blue.

A dark blue para 2 with m4 would be freakin' sweet.

Could someone enlighten me more about this?
Pretty much the first PM2 I'm even slightly interested in. :)
Is there a list I can get on like with the M4 Military?

Not a fan of the smurf blue either but I highly doubt they will use dark blue g10 when they already have a bunch of smurf blue g10 that is being used on the sage 3.

Really, someone needs to spill the beans on this one, I'm checking this thread way too often!

Interesting info, thanks. Hard to imagine since the Para 2 seems to be the slowest production model ever produced to hit the market and is still backordered at some of the more popular dealers. With all the money I spend I would think they could afford to hire some help ;)

Dunno...that G10 is likely in Taiwan, no? :) If there are leftovers, probably more likely to be the somewhat darker blue G10 that was used in the Manix 2 sprint that (like the Para 2) is made in Golden?

Compared to the other processes which go into making these knives, a batch of G10 in whatever color is pretty much an afterthought. G10 is almost always really cheap.

Good point. That was a nice color too. Just friendly enough to tone down the P2's tactical feel for NKPs as well.

I am not ashamed to admit that, as I read this thread, a single manly tear rolls down my cheek.

Thank you to whoever had the foresight to get this project off the ground. I am most definitely in for one, and will be tracking developments obsessively...I mean closely!

I like. Can't wait 'till this comes out.

I think the smurf's are sort of hot :D I'm still liking my Manix 2 smurf so if this PM2 is a similar colour then that will be ok with me.

Ah yea forgot about that. I hope you're right. Either way I will be all over this sprint regardless of what the exact color is. The smurf blue is hideous but I can live with it.
